issue with running a show() function

hi all,
when running the form tutorial code it states that
http://localhost/show
can be run saving index or index.py going in front of the show but when i run this it says that /show cant be found
any ideas why this is

sorry i made a mistake it was not on the form tutorial it was on this page
http://webpython.codepoint.net/mod_python_publisher_uri_traversal
and i have got the index.py as the page
but it aint show() it says, its :
http://my_site.tld/dir/path/index.py/everybody
http://my_site.tld/dir/path/index/everybody
http://my_site.tld/dir/path/everybody
which i tried this but only the top 2 work the bottom one dont
