I have done everything on the crash course tutorial, until I get to the execute the file part....I do everything it says to the T, but it still is trying to recognize mileage.py as a command....

Any help will be greatly appreciated...thanks

Have you tried running it in command prompt (if you are running widows) with "python" before the file name?

When you get to the save as screen, you have to change the save as type to all files. Otherwise, it'll save as a text document. And make sure to add .py to the end of what you're saving.
